Please Dont Feed The Monkeys!

The age-old argument of whether we evolved from single-celled organisms or began our existence in the Garden of Eden continues...
I know there are several agruments on either side of the Creation Vs Evolution debate and I just came across these quotes while surfing the net.

Its amazing how we have progressed from a society that once believed that we are God's Children to a present generation that believes that we are descendants of apes!

Lets not forget long drawn the heliocentric theory vs the geocentric theory.. Several brilliant minds were actually executed just because they believed in something that the Christian faith didnt.. And then apologizing for it over 3centuries later.. Pretty neat way of settling an arguement.I'm thankful that they dont do it anymore.

@Metablogger:
There werent executed for disbelief in the Christian faith. Rather it was for not conforming to the Catholic church and their beliefs which are by no means 'Christian' or biblical.

Me too,I read thru the first 20 or so and then scrolled down for the last few. Most of them made the same argument. I hope you didnt miss the quotes from the bible at the end of the page.

Thats preciely the opposite of what Im trying to make clear here. These 'facts' have been put forth by some scientists and have been refuted by others. Its not a universally accepted truth like the Heliocentric theory.

Dude, check this out, this guy thinks laterally. He's on the side of evolution, but keeps pulling these funky logical loops, he's been doing this for a while and making people mad. AClick Here
