Yamaha R1 injured in motorbike mishap

This is the news article, in its original form. The edited version which appeared in the Times of India today morning had a lot of useless information about an unshaven twit called John. So here is the unedited, unabridged version of the incident...the way it should have been reported

Mumbai:A Black '05 Yamaha R1 rammed into a bicycle at 11:15pm on Saturday on 16th Road at Khar. The bike, which is barely a year old, was returning from a fashion show, cruising on the sea-facing Carter Road, which stretches from Bandra to Khar, but probably failed to slow down after crossing the open stretch. According to sources the bike was on the way to Bipasha Basu's house.

According to the mechanics attending to the 1000cc Yam, the bike is "badly damaged and will be under observation for at least 24 to 48 hours"

"The bike has suffered massive injuries to the right faring but the chassis hasnt been damaged. The front fork was severely bent and took four hours to be straightened."

The bike rider has been booked for negligent driving and causing injury to man and vehicle. The rider, according to eye witnesses, was most probably drunk and could not maintain control of the bike.He slammed the brakes and skid for a few metres before colliding with the cyclist and kissing the road.

"The R1 is fine and there is nothing to worry about," said Bipasha Basu who visited the bike at the garage. The Yam, which had been on the road day and night for a fortnight under heavy traffic conditions, will have to take a break and recover from this horrific incident.

John Abraham was riding the bike.

btw, u failed to mention that abe, took the injured person to the hospital immediately in any auto and left the bike where it was, giving more attention to the guy than the bike. way to go bro...he's the one that got me started on motorbikes when i was smaller...and he's one heck of a guy, very helpful and responsible, so i doubt that he would drink and drive, i know him better than that...there must have been some problems with the bike, i'm 200% sure...

lol when the yamaha r1 was mentioned, I knew it had to be him. And well, what do I say... You can be never be sure of news articles. Well, if he did take the person to the hospital like he has been hailed for doing, great. But a drunkard so drunk that he cannot control his bike taking someone else to hospital? Sounds curiously suspicious? What say? ;)

Well from the pictures in the papers, the Yam is totally wrecked which means John was definitely racing down the road. For him to have collided with a cycle at that speed...its a miracle no one was seriously injured!
Luckily this didnt turn out to be another Salman Khan-like road accident.

As they say...With great power comes great responsibility...and we are talking about 175 horses of raw power here!

Dear Friends,
all this is rubbish that the bike was in the garagr for repairs and the mechanics have also given some comments.
Since after the accident the bike was lying at the police station for some time and then the same was called back to the Yamaha Factory ( Surajpur Plant ). For quite long it lay there and then it was transferred to the ultimate workshop in the country i.e., Kaulson Racing Products ( KRP ), New Delhi for the rebuilding & repairs. KRP being the best in the as far the Superbikes are concerned have already startrd the work on the bike. FOR THE INFO OF ALL THE SUPERBIKE LOVERS
